FAQ's
Why use the Uniform Commercial Code ("UCC") instead of the Personal Property Securities Act ("PPSA")?
The corporation of CANADA is registered in the District of Colombia. The District of Colombia has adopted the UCC to govern and regulate commercial transactions and Securities exchange. Securing a lien under the jurisdiction of the UCC not only secures the us from that corporate entity registered in D.C., but also provides a way to "access" our common law rights (as of writing this article, UCC § 1-308). Both are acceptable, however, the PPSA is inferior to the UCC.
